At a time when geopolitical uncertainty is placing commercial relationships under pressure, carefully drafted dispute resolution mechanisms matter more than ever. Properly drafted, multi-tiered clauses can support early and efficient resolution; without sufficient clarity, however, they may instead create delay, additional cost and further disputes.
